2024 Women Build Announced!
We’re thrilled to announce our plans for the 2024 Women Build! And even more exciting – this year there will be TWO Women Build series.
This spring, help us pack the calendar with all Women Build volunteers from May 18 through June 14 as we start framing a home in South Portland.
What is Women Build?
Women Build is a movement that unites and empowers women to collectively make an impact on affordable housing in the communities where we work and live. This spring and fall for several weeks at a time, we’ll be hosting a special series of build days celebrating the strength of women.
While Women Build is focused on the inclusion of women in the work of building homes, the initiative does not exclude volunteers of any gender or gender identity nor does it promote discrimination of any kind.
